NaNoWriMo 2021 Word Count Tracker

It’s NaNoWriMo 2021! If you’re participating or doing your own creative projects this month, please let me know in the comments. For more information on National Novel Writing Month, check out http://www.nanowrimo.org.

I’m posting my cumulative word count here throughout the month of November.

  • Day 1 – 53 words
    • Was traveling from a wedding and I’m glad I even got some words down
  • Day 2 – 2498 words
    • Managed to snag some time in the evening to write up some proto-scenes and getting more handle on the setting/plot
  • Day 3 – 2557 words
    • Work killed me and whatever energy I had. At least I have the weekend?
  • Day 4 – 2693 words
    • Another long work day and I ended up trashing the outline I made in October. But hey, managed to get 136 words before I passed out for the night.
  • Day 5 – 5004 words
    • Today was much more flexible so I was able to meet my stretch goal. I’m aiming to use weekends to get ahead in word count so weekdays can be focused on work project shenanigans.
  • Day 6 – 5622 words
  • Day 7 – 6508 words
  • Day 8 – 7597 words
  • Day 9 – 8116 words
    • Yeah, with personal life and work being crazy, I’m going to focus on just getting words on the page everyday. If I end up still making 50k, then great! Otherwise, no stress. I want to take my time with Project Stage Girls.
  • Day 10 – 8638 words
  • Day 11 – 9371 words
  • Day 12 – 9398 words
  • Day 13 – 17042 words
  • Day 14 – 21477 words
    • As you can see, this weekend has been pretty productive with the words. Unfortunately I couldn’t catch up to par but that’s okay. Still have time to catch up by the end.
  • Day 15 – 23372 words
  • Day 16 – 25150 words
  • Day 17 – 25765 words
  • Day 18 – 26857 words
  • Day 19 – 26998 words
  • Day 20 – 30127 words
  • Day 21 – 31180 words
